Il Presidente del Cluster Tecnologico Nazionale BIG Giovanni Caprino, è intervenuto ieri, per la seconda volta, nelle audizioni convocate dal Comitato interministeriale per le politiche del mare (CIPOM) e dalla sua Struttura di Missione per le Politiche del Mare. L’audizione è stata l’occasione per evidenziare la trasversalità dei soggetti coinvolti nel Cluster e delle traiettorie tecnologiche su cui opera: ambiente marino e fascia costiera, risorse biotiche e abiotiche, cantieristica e robotica, energie rinnovabili marine, biotecnologie blu, sostenibilità dal mare, infrastrutture di ricerca integrate e nuove professioni relative all’economia del mare. Il presidente Caprino, in particolare, ha condiviso con il tavolo del mare il proprio piano d’azione, redatto in collaborazione con un’ampia gamma di stakeholder, tra cui rappresentanti di aziende, organizzazioni e istituzioni, con l’obiettivo di definire una strategia di sviluppo a lungo termine per promuovere una crescita sostenibile del settore tecnologico italiano con particolare riferimento all’Economia del Mare. Il piano prevede una serie di misure che mirano a sostenere la competitività e la qualità della produzione tecnologica e del progresso scientifico, con un’attenzione verso il rafforzamento della capacità di innovazione dell’industria italiana, con particolare riguardo alle piccole e medie imprese e alle Regioni del Mezzogiorno. Relativamente al tema di “Ecosistemi, biodiversità, risorse marine viventi”, oggetto della prima audizione a cui ha partecipato il coordinatore del CTS Emilio Fortunato Campana, le attività del Cluster sono volte al miglioramento di una serie di criticità, tra cui citiamo, tra le altre: il problema di riciclo dello scarto del pescato, il miglioramento della qualità dell’acquacoltura, la tutela della pesca, la decarbonizzazione dei navigli, la creazione di sinergie con i paesi della riva sud del Mediterraneo per la gestione delle risorse, l’individuazione di nuove metodologie di dragaggi e salvaguardia delle coste, la creazione di nuove forme di business sostenibili e la promozione di nuove professioni dell’Economia del Mare. Per il tema della seconda audizione, “Risorse energetiche, subacquea e geologia marina”, il Presidente Caprino ha evidenziato punti di forza, punti di debolezza, fabbisogni e potenziali linee di sviluppo tecnologico in accordo con le traiettorie tecnologiche del Cluster: “Energie rinnovabili marine”, “Risorse abiotiche” e “Cantieristica e Robotica Marina”.
Cluster BIG insieme ai partner del progetto IKAT, progetto europeo finanziato nell’ambito del COSME, mette a disposizione opportunità di finanziamento per le PMI. Dal 20 Febbraio è ufficialmente aperta la prima Open Call dedicata alle PMI dell’ecosistema turistico (tra cui turismo marittimo e costiero, escursioni marittime, manifattura e compravendita di imbarcazione sportive e da diporto…). Le PMI vincitrici potranno usufruire di finanziamenti al 100% per servizi di accelerazione, innovazione, adattamento digitale e verde, accesso ai finanziamenti e internazionalizzazione. In questa prima call, sono a disposizione €525.000, di cui €75.000 erogati direttamente dal Cluster BIG. Cluster BIG insieme ai partner di progetto ha mobilitato le PMI dell’economia blu dell’UE affinché adottassero processi e tecnologie per un’economia più verde, più digitale e più resiliente. Ha gestito due bandi aperti per finanziare una serie di servizi per le PMI sui temi dell’innovazione, della formazione, della trasformazione duale e dell’internazionalizzazione. I risultati saranno disponibili a breve, entro l’inizio di settembre. MedBAN – Mediterranean Blue Acceleration Network will mobilize the EU blue economy SMEs to adopt processes and technologies for a greener, more digital and more resilient economy. It will manage two open call schemes to fund a set of services for SMEs on innovation, training, twin transformation and internationalisation issues. MedBAN integrates the Euroclusters’ Initiative and is closely aligned with its specific objectives on networks, innovation, adoption of processes and technologies for the green and digital transition, training for the up and re-skilling of the workforce and internationalization of EU SMEs. It aims to reinforce the EU New Industrial Strategy.
