On November 6, during the 28th edition of EcomondoExpo in Rimini, took place the prestigious Beacon Conference “Blue Horizons: Trans-Mediterranean Cluster Collaboration for Innovation in Energy, Clean Tech, and Bioeconomy”, organized by ClusterBIG in collaboration with the Scientific Technical Committee of Ecomondo.
This high-level session, co-chaired by #CINEA and #ClusterBIG, brought together representatives from international public institutions, research bodies, and private stakeholders to discuss transnational cooperation, innovation, and sustainability. The discussion highlighted the strategic role of clusters in promoting cleantech solutions, fostering industrial competitiveness, and supporting the blue economy.
The conference also focused on major global initiatives for protection and scientific research about seas and oceans — such as The European Ocean Pact and the Mediterranean Pact — as well as on European funding opportunities supporting sustainable blue growth.
