Trajectory 4- Shipbuilding and marine robotics

The shipbuilding and marine robotics trajectory analyzes the maritime transport system consisting of marine vehicles and port infrastructures, the set of surface units and non-transport submarines (for example supply vessels, research vessels, fishing units, etc.) and surface and underwater robotics.

It includes the study of fuel-efficient, low environmental impact, safer and autonomous ships; submarine autonomous vehicles for monitoring and operations and the technologies for the reduction of the environmental impact of ports and harbors. In addition, much space is also given to the emerging sector of marine robotics, which today represents a transversal technology with applications to all sectors of the blue economy or to all the trajectories of the Cluster.
