Save the date! 📢 The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership will host a workshop at European Maritime Day 2026 on how the next EU Multiannual Financial Framework can support a truly “blue” transition.
The session will look at:
• embedding ocean priorities in National and Regional Partnership Plans
• the future of ocean R&I funding under the next Framework Programme
• how communities across policy, research and civil society can mobilise around blue investment
With expected contributions from the European Parliament, DG MARE, national ministries, regional networks and NGOs, the workshop will connect the ambition of the EU Ocean Pact with the funding frameworks that must sustain it.
